Through our consultancy service you can benefit from our 20 years' experience of advising developers on urban drainage and our work with local authorities reviewing drainage submissions for planning.

Our SuDS experts offer the following consultancy services. 

Our SuDS experts can provide a report analysing the Surface water storage volume estimation tool results, and include a covering explanatory letter.

Reports can be used to meet the planning officer’s requirements for an estimation of the required surface water runoff attenuation storage volume for the site.

Report includes:

• development description and assumptions relating to discharge controls and contributing areas; 
• an estimated attenuation or infiltration storage volume;  
• a summary of the parameters used and why, and a statement of what the results mean.

Cost: £800 (+VAT)

If your application needs more extensive information to meet drainage submission planning requirements, we can supplement the storage volume analysis with an assessment of treatment requirements and maintenance needs.

Package includes:

• reports based on using the storage estimation tool or the infiltration storage estimation tool;
• phone call to the planners where clarification is needed;
• management and maintenance plan;
• SuDS water quality assessment (using SuDS Manual SIA approach);
• summary of the parameters used and why;
• statement of what the results mean.

Cost: £1250 (+VAT)

Sometimes your application will be more complex: for example, if specific flow control rates are required, or if infiltration is required to deal with runoff from only part of the site and will require a more detailed analysis.
